1. Visiting Plymouth Motor Speedway
One great thing to do over the summer is to visit Plymouth Motor Speedway at 11631 12th Road. Here, you can catch a car race. However, it is not just car racing that you can enjoy here. There are also many concerts throughout the summer featuring popular artists.
One thing we love about Plymouth Motor Speedway is that it offers free camping spaces for people who want to watch a Friday race. You can set up camp on the east end of the parking lot, and you are allowed to have a small fire going as long as it remains contained. Another thing we love is that this motor speedway doesn’t charge for parking on race days.
2. Exploring Price Memorial Park
Another one of the best ways to enjoy a beautiful summer day is to take some time to explore Price Memorial Park. This park is located at 205 Plymouth Goshen Trail, and it is a great place to picnic, have a party, or go for a swim. This 13-acre piece of property was once private, but Bob Price donated it to the Plymouth Park Department in the autumn of 2015, and it has been a popular spot ever since.
3. Enjoying an Evening at Tri-Way Drive-In Theatre
We also recommend spending an enjoyable evening at Tri-Way Drive-In Theatre at 4400 Michigan Rd. For only $10 per adult and $8 per child between the ages of 4 and 11, you can enjoy two films. There are four screens, and each screen plays a different movie. When the second feature starts, you can move your car and change your radio station to tune into a film on a different screen if you want to.
Note that it is not just entertainment you can expect to find here. There is also great food at this drive-in movie theater. we love the pizza, steak burgers, and mozzarella sticks.
